Finally fishing again

Postby Emerson » Tue Feb 07, 2012 5:50 pm

It has been either too cold, too much water or the worst...too much work...yes that is not a typo...me doing too much work!!

Today a bit windy but no problem for fishing deep.
Water temp...39 degrees...we are talking major shrinkage....me waders almost fell down....ha ha ha
Brian, This is the stream we visited....when we saw it the flow was around 600...today it was 238 CFS...super for wading..just do not go for a swim!
My first fish was an old fav..foul hooked as well

I think he was just trying to tail slap the San Juan Worm for some reason....stun it then inhale it.
Here are the targeted species....liking the SJW or the bead head brown nymph

I think you should get some counseling - don't want you to turn into a workaholic!

Nice fishes!

Pretty Em

"Zen and the Art of Sucker Snagging" or "Dead Drifting for Stone Lickers"

Not sure what the title should be.

We'll have to think this through.
