Business....

.....had me at elevation in Western NC late last week so I tossed my daughter's buggy whip into the trunk and hiked into a remote blue-line for an evening. Coaxed only this one native to hand:

Bushwacking back to the car was jolted out of my nature induced bliss by a "WOOF" a few yards to my right. Snapping a quick-pic-from-the-hip I thought it best to put some distance between my skinny ass and this Momma and her 3 cubs knowing that there was far more nutrition in the berries they were foraging:

While I love the remoteness and serenity of difficult to access trout streams, I prefer to fish in bigger water and much prefer to pursue brown fish. After Friday meetings I went to this stream for a wade:
