Tricos are here!

Postby Emerson » Mon Jun 20, 2011 6:47 pm

Went to the Tully near Reading, PA today. heard the tricos had just started downstream..hoped they would begin upstream..
Lucky..they did. Put my tootsie in the water at 5:20 AM...fish were rising...

See the rings in the center! Taking a picture of rings with my camera is tough..just shows how many there were!
Lots of brown trout eating the size #24 duns..

The fight was great on the 6 ft 2 weight!

There were some nice chunky rainbows as well in other areas of the stream

Around 7:30 the spinners started falling..I switched over to a spinner pattern....no love. The closer I looked...the fish were not doing the normal spinners gulp but porposing and jumping...emergers! I put on a size #18 caddis emerger....B-I-N-G-O!
Hit more fish for another 2 hours!!!
Not to be dissapointed...there were some less desirous species!

I'm sure you out-fish Public Enemy # 1 ... probably 50 to 1.

But he is there 24-7 ... and Homey don't play no "C & R".

Great work , as usual.
