Shad Video-Nottoway

Postby kendalloz » Tue Apr 05, 2011 3:53 pm

Not sure where to post this...I guess this is as good a place as any.

Fished the Nottoway Monday. Decent fishing though not the numbers of fish the folks in Richmond are getting. But, not too crowded as you can see in the video. Most of the shad were Americans which was nice since they are larger and thus fight better than the dinky hickories. Lost a LOT of flies. River was a little spooky with so much downed timber. This is about 3.5 minutes and 6432 frames of fishing and scenery.

Very interesting, KO ...that may be the bluest heron I've ever seen.

Nottoway is on my list for next shad season.
