Dowtown shad run

Postby toddkfly » Tue Mar 29, 2011 7:52 pm

Enjoyed a few hours with MB82's dad on the James today. Real nice push of fish with a pile of American shad taking center stage. We stayed down near Rocket's Landing the entire time. Fish were high, low, in the middle and loved yellow/red, and my pink crystal bug. The Americans were 3-5lbs. with hickories running about a pound. Great day with great company and willing fish.

Glad you two got out. Looks like Friday is going to be my turn, assuming the rain is not too bad the next few days.
