sunset peregrines

Postby BlueHeron » Wed Jun 17, 2015 9:16 am

Late evening paddle yesterday. Lots of bait on the surface, but nothing under it. Gorgeous sky.
Happy but not surprised to see a peregrine falcon swoop in and land on the bridge.
Then two more flew by! I don't recall ever seeing three peregrines together at close range before. They must have fledged and we have a family. :D

Excellent find, GBH! Great news.
