Point Forecast and limited report

Postby SOBX » Fri Oct 11, 2013 5:21 pm

Few fish yesterday, Sarah found some off the buoy chain, some fish found today by 3 or 4 boats and Dr Len Wiggs reported some "toads", but unless Smoot calls with something better, seems most fish were up and down, but bait is still here.

I am taking the 5wt, along with some bigger sticks & Albert Bruno, for a ride to some rocks and fish the dead low and rise for specks and reds unless my phone rings or those rocks disappoint, so it's a 50/50 chance I'll be a happy camper tomorrow!

This is the point/spot forecast for the Dead Tree Hole:

Tonight: NW wind 9 to 14 kt. A slight chance of rain or drizzle. Seas around 2 ft.

Saturday: NW wind 9 to 12 kt. A slight chance of rain or drizzle. Seas around 2 ft.

Saturday Night: N wind 10 to 12 kt. A chance of rain or drizzle. Seas around 1 ft.

Sunday: NE wind around 15 kt. A chance of rain. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Sunday Night: NNE wind around 17 kt. A chance of rain. Seas around 2 ft.

Columbus Day: NE wind around 18 kt. A chance of rain. Seas around 2 ft.

Monday Night: NNE wind 17 to 19 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas around 2 ft.

Tuesday: NNE wind around 18 kt. Partly sunny. Seas around 2 ft.

Tuesday Night: NNE wind 14 to 16 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas around 2 ft.

So have at it folks, enjoy the prettiest weather all week and get some licks in before the next blow.

Good Fishing!!!
