has anyone tried Matson's pulse discs?

Postby jwillis » Sun Sep 04, 2016 10:47 am

I just heard about Jim Matson's Brinefly Pulse Discs <http://brineflyinnovations.com> and am curious about whether anyone has tried them. They seem to give a very realistic swimming motion to pretty much any fly, but they really make the longer flies like half and half, popovics hollows, eel imitations, etc come alive.

Check out this cool video that he made showing the action on a wide selection of flies <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXoNk-so_EI&feature=youtu.be>.

They may be a bit wind resistant but perhaps its worth it? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

They work great. However...for them to work..your fly must be underwater....they do not work on top water type flies.
On clousers...fantstic. On small streamers...fantastic

I have gotten lots of freshwater fish and saltwater on them
