Ok Dads gooed and drying. His look pretty good, and being ultra-hair and covered in Goo, I bet it will be almost indestructible.

I call photoshop. Todd never gets calm seas like that when he is on the water. I bet that fish is fiberglass J/K

Jeff, your killing me. Besides I'm not smart enough to figure out photoshop. Johnny, that fish was actually caught in the afternoon just off the Lighthouse in Montauk, 2008. I think we were just around the south side so you are looking southwest. Xi2 8 weight, dead stickin the crease fly. I tie the crease a bit smaller than usual to mimic the real size of the baitfish. BM me your address and I'll send you some to check out. may even throw in a few other fun ones ;)

Tracy,

The albies start rolling (minus 2009) in mid Sept. depending on bait and water temps. First couple weeks in October are usually my favorites. May and June can be decent but not for the albies. Will run into some bass and blues mostly and the fluke get hungry right around mother's day. I will be up there in July with the family for a week and will be making a run over to Block island for some investigative work with the wands. Montauk is just a fishy place, kind of like Cape Lookout. Hop in a boat and ask yourself, what do we want to catch today and how do we want to catch it?

Thanks Todd. Its a shame I lived up that way for 6 years but wasnt into flyfishing yet. Used to deploy to the hamptons in the summer time. I am going to give Barneget jetty a try when I do go up.
