Was hunting around for these and read on another forum that they should be out any day now - from Bob Popovics himself. It was on the stripers forum - never tied a surf candy but will have to try them -- he had a bunch more of pictures p- his ties though and I am in no way of that caliber!

Of course a speeding/bait ball crashhing predator really cannot judge the quality of my tieing so I am good!

Fun to learn though -

The short shanked Varivas ss hooks are 2600ST-V's(second photo). The carbon version of the short shank is the 2600V(popular with the tarpon folks)and the long shank ss version is the 2610ST-V. I shipped Chris at SW flies a good bunch 2-3 weeks ago so hope you are all set. For those that didn't know, the old importer of the Varivas hooks went out of business a few years back so the Varivas saltwater fly hooks went away. Long story short, I worked out an arrangement with the parent company to bring them back and now supply the two stores mentioned above. I will be expanding this a bit over the course of the year so please feel free to email me with any questions or feedback as I'd be glad to help where I can.
