Harkers flys for 2011

Postby lwflyrod » Thu Sep 15, 2011 5:44 pm

3 weeks away from trip to Harkers and I haven't had time to tie!!
So I will have to do a crash course. on weekends here.
My Tying partner is at college without his tying gear so its up to me to get them tied.
whose got some quick recipes on the snot bait flies (looks like that's what their eating now, from the posts)
the smaller flies type baits is what I'm looking for.

Have the assortment of Clousers already tied in 4's and 6's . Dozen of each color, pink/white, chart/white, pink/chart, orange/black, brown/white, plus a few others colors for experimentation. (did I miss any)
I cant find the recipes we had from last years tie swap.

Thanks everyone..

hardly ever use the same fly from year to year--last year almost the only fly i threw was a small white epoxy tied with craft fur. the year before an olive epoxy i think. I do not like throwing clousers at albies so i do not use them--they work but i prefer other flies for albies.
you have the color combo covered--good to go

ok, Thanks, Well seems like I got it covered then. Just need to tie up some small stuff. I know Sarah will have certain flies she will want us to use on Monday. (she's got that covered) I was kinda looking for the assortment for the Saturday and Sunday that we will be out on our own on foot or on yaks.
