ESVA R&R

Postby BlueHeron » Tue May 21, 2013 4:06 pm

Did some lower shore R and R this past weekend.
As in: Rays and Rain. :(
kayaked from Wise Point ramp to the top of Hunger Creek over three days, camping at Old Plantation Creek and Savage Neck.
The paddling, camping and company were primary. Fishing was a side show, all conventional light tackle, and where we happened to travel. still I thought I might stumble into some specs or pups. Lots of pullage, but all rays.
Still a good time - very wet - but good.
tent and sleeping bag are out in the first sun Ive seen in a few days.
will be dry soon
Dave
the bus came by and I got on
that's when it all began
