talked to a friend who fished Keptopeake Friday with eels and they caught 8 fish and 6 over 40 pounds

Yep. Been helping a friend on his charters and we have been whacking toads on the troll over near Plantation Light and Cape Charles. Biggest was on Friday, 46" and 44lbs. Most have been 40"+. Edge of the deep water has been the ticket. Even butterfly jigged one up which was fun.

Eeling is too boring for me but Glad someone is finding fish. Friends who went to the CBBT light line a few days ago did not see one fish! :o

No canvasbacks here either. They are usually here by now. Still have 1 osprey in the river as well. Odd season for sure.

Was going to ask you when your duck video would come out. Another mild start to winter is keeping a lot of stuff from heading this way. See if this cold snap coming pushes anything down here.
