Incredible Footage. Really shows how they use their bill to attempt to stun prey. A fish minded engineer might be able to use that to design a new lure which could actually fall limp to a smack. Might result in more bites.

What if you made a bait that when smacked could release a clip like a outrigger, uncoiling 50-100 ft of some really stretchy mono would give the sensation of a stunned free falling bait.?( and then tangle into a gigantic rats nest!) :D .youd have to figure out a way to reel in past the teaser too... Won't quit my day job quite yet....

I was waiting to see that wahoo come back and shred something up! No hooks in a dredge-just a teaser rig. Am digging the Shaggy over Rage mix. Timed nicely to the wiggle and waggle of the dredge baits.
