Can't stay away

Postby JoeB » Thu Aug 02, 2012 10:03 am

Heading out to the OIFC with the kayak next week...either monday or tues for a round trip fishing day from Durham, NC (the only way I can makes this happen is as such with a new 12 week old at home). Gonna be fishing the prop slough and other outside cuts from my orange OK Prowler.

If you see me floating out there...throw some good mojo my way. Have not been in the salt since my HI Albie trip last fall!!!!
Have kayak...will travel.

you might check out around the bridges in Manns Harbor--a butt load of specks over there --mind boggling the amount
google bowser town ramp in manteo--short paddle to sound and trout and small reds

Dare County Public Boat Ramp—Town of Manteo, NC
While traveling from Nags Head on US 158 E, take US 64 W at milepost 16.5. Go 3.9 miles to the traffic light at Manteo and turn right onto 64/N Main Highway. Turn left onto Bowstertown Road, follow this road to the end and turn left. The boat ramp driveway is on the right.
