Whaler, On second thought the darth helmet might work better in January if the rock show up off the beach--might break a biting cold wind a bit. Harkers might be a good place to try it out on a colder day. Maybe woody will agree to be the beta tester. Reefing would be another good choice..his boy is can do a lot with that one.

On a like note has anyone found a good windproof neck gaiter in a non camo color. I am constantly looking for one but can't seem to find one--all the ones I run across are either straight fleece or all camo.

I bought one of the Buff sleeves. They are great. Wear it over face when running boat when cooler for warmth. Also keep wind out of ears. Use it under hat to protect ears from getting burnt. When it is raining and driving boat stops the sting from the rain drops. Just bought a spare don't want to be without one. Probably will use it this winter Steelhead fishing for some warmth. They seem to work for coolness when hot and warmth when cold hits you.
