Brian turned me onto the mini HD video cam. Turned out I needed one for the office. Also works outside. Here are my favorite summer neighbors at lunch:

Another bird to try and capture on film!!!

It is a Giant Bird of Annapolis ....if you know who/what I mean...

Maybe you could do a search of the area....

Characteristics to enable to search to be narrowed down quickly!
extremely long legs, neck (might not be able to capture the entire view at close range)
very wide wing span
walks like a great blue heron..same pronounced gait..high leg lift followed slowly by long web foot reach
looks like Lurch
frequent chatter with an uncommon number of large words....sounds like Mr. Peabody
has been know to frequent a cove just west of the Naval Academy

As soon as you capture this "bird" on film, please let us view....have not seen this creature in action for quite some time!

MMMMM
I think I know those birds. They are on eggs now.
Watched a GBH fly too close to an osprey nest this weekend - a bit of aerial combat ensued. The heron was not shy at fighting back!
And E, Lurch? I beg to differ. Also, wingspan has it's advantages as shown.
