Heading out Thursday morning - possibly Lafayette or the E.

Postby HanoverYakker » Wed Nov 03, 2010 10:03 am

Anyone care to join me? I am still waiting on my fly rod and reel money to order my first one, but no need to waste time sitting at home wishing right :D :D ? Might as well head out and scout some new water. Anyone care to join me? I am new, but am also a KBF member, HOW volunteer and met mb82 at Orvis a couple weekends ago for a seminar.

If you can make it or have a suggestion of where to meet, I will be in a Wilderness Tarpon 140 I am testing out.

KO or CX or somebody ... please fish with this man.

Give him some inspiration before the fly stick arrives.

Mother Nature being a bear, I bailed. Maybe some other time guys. As the weather gets a little colder, Hot Ditch area might be a spot to meet up with you guys. Thanks for trying though on such short notice.

Id be game for the hot ditch. You will have to go to the HRBT with us if we ever get the weather.

The weather was borderline for me earlier. ~10-15 minutes ago it went to just plain junk, wind picked up and so did the rain.

Sure man - btw, hit HRBT last night and tested out a Tarpon 140 at the same time. tough sledding with the wind, tides and rain but managed 6 schoolies with the best one topping out at 22".

Funny that was one of the first things Dad asked when I walked into my parents house tonight. I will have to look at the weather. I know it won't be before Thurs.

I'll be game some day. Went in the Lafayette for a few hours Wednesday and got some small specks. Been very busy...
