Currituck Sound 5-12

Postby hh65cdr » Tue May 12, 2009 1:56 pm

Found the trout again today. Biggest was 20 inches. It didnt last long as the wind changed on me and I got my $** handed to me paddling back in. Worked inside some creeks for Puppy drum with no luck. Hope these fish hang around for a while.

As far as my side of the Currituck sound goes this wind STINKS. It was like a big tease yesterday. As soon as I got myself out of a realy yucky situation and into the creeks it would lay down back to the NW which flattens out my good spot. It was like someone was watching me with a wind remote. NE back to SE. I want some NW-SW winds. The water temp droped. Dont think that has affected the fishing up here to much though.
