rolling

Postby BlueHeron » Sat Jun 12, 2010 10:20 am

Was having dinner last week with my neighbor and his brother, who Iv'e known 40 years. Bob (the brother) mentioned he had posted a utube video of kayak rolls. May be of more interest to me, who fishes from my touring boat, than you all with SOT's, but pretty fun to watch, especially on a hot day

Neat video. Water looks kinda cold though.

Looks like nice water right now.

I used to be able to roll when I used my touring boat. The thing I wish he could show is the hip action, I don't remember what roll I was doing but when they say it is all in the hips they are right.
Heck my Redfish doesn't roll anyway, you just fall out of it.

Neat video. I used to have to jump into ice cold water in jersey to test my dry suit. I like warm water on my SOT. Those guys are dedicated.
