Baja countdown

Postby pmaxwell » Mon Aug 31, 2009 4:54 pm

19 days left to go :D :D

but I'm also concerned about hurricane Jimena, currently a category 4 that is bearing down on the area.

Twelve days!

At this moment (4:45 AM west coast time), it's a frigid 82 in La Paz!

you better hope for cool in La Paz and our AC works. It is freaking hot---it knocks Emerson down and that is hard to do. I do not have ac so i have been studying up.

82...that is in the mtns.....that is what it is in our rooms with the AC working. Last year the power went out..no AC. The rooms have no possible cross ventilation...windows in front only on most buildings ..plus no breeze anyway..

One or 2 days 2 years ago...I laid down for an hour back at Baja Joes....totally wiped out. If we get into skippies and tuna and you get 3 or 4 skippies hooked in a row...you will be tired!

I get + points for this one!!!! Not enough to counter some things ;) ....key...rack...!

Image..look at his eyes..pictures do not always do situations justice but perhaps ypu can look into this one and seen a wiped out individual!

2 years ago we come in from our day on the water....I look over at Brian(he was in a different boat than me) as he was sitting on the back of the van...eyes glassy, looking really wiped out. I asked him..how much water have you had....he said a couple. I quickly got a cool water to him..told him to drink it. Not instant cure but better. Once he got that down I forced him to have another. By the time we got to our store on the way home, he was looking better (better for him...still bad for us  )

This is the sorriest excuse for a countdown I have ever seen. At the stroke of midnight, we will have 2 days until the fun begins. I am not nearly prepared enough. :o
