Fishing: Spring Break

Postby TimeFlies » Sun Mar 25, 2012 8:01 pm

Hey guys. I must admit, I'm mostly a "lurker" on the site but really enjoy reading everyone's posts. I've learned a ton over the years and am jealous of the great trips. I'll be heading down to Rodanthe for spring break and was wondering what opportunities might exist wading from shore. Should I bring along my 8 wt with an intermidiate and/or sinking line? What flies would work best? I appreciate the advice and insight. Thanks.

look in the sounds should be some trout and maybe some bluefish--intermediate lines and a selection of clousers --Check with Hatteras Jacks about wading spots
