anything biting in the sound?

Postby Dan » Mon Aug 23, 2010 5:43 pm

Hello,
My name is Dan and I'm new to the board . I'm planning a trip down to Oregon inlet Sept 19 for a few days and I'm looking for a fishing report for the sound around Oregon Inlet and Bodie Lighthouse .I'll be wading and may bring a solo canoe to cast some flies around. I'm hearing the fish are not biting well in the sound can anyone give me a update. Also will a solo canoe serve me just as well as a kayak .Thank you for your replies.
Dan

I'll let you know after Friday how the fishing is. I plan on getting out on the areas you speak of both wading and kayaking. Yes, a single canoe will do the trick as well...
