Great show Brian. Love the Prince cover - who is it?

I have noticed our old Abraham-style poppers in all the pictures from your trip. Have they started using them along with the Cam Siglers?

Can't wait to return...

Hugh,

The hammock shot was a canned shot...we were asked to take one for the team....Of course we said yes...more details later..

As to the POPPERS...I listened to the advice of an Old Sage..guess who...he told me not to bring any poppers...they do not use them at all in Guatemala..I believe was his direct quote. As you can guess, I only have about 30 here...rigged ready to go..perhaps the count is a bit off??? The second day... we had bad luck..no problem with numbers of fish..problems with hooking the fish. The other boat's members upon returning, made a report of using poppers to catch their fish...HMMMMM...I thought the entire fleet ONLY USED CAM SIGLERS...Now where did they get poppers, as there are absolutely none in Guatemala??? I do not think they stopped at the local fly shop and purchased a few...hmmmmmmmm :?: :?:
I did not believe them at first due to we keep all of our equipment on the boat at night. Brian gets his camera out and then shows me!!! :o

Next time, my bags will have an additional 30 items...some 1", some 3/4"

E-I am shocked that you actually listened to and followed Brian's advice to leave anything at home. That's unlike you. There is no weight limit in Guatemala. What were you thinking?

i do not care what you bring but please leave those RIDICULAS HOOK sets home. Capt. Mike Sheeter had drinks with us one night and tried to educate E on the theory of hooks size. Made sense to me --the only reason we went to bigger hook at Golfito was to compensate for our miserable hook setting technique. We did not know any better ---we know better now.

Anyway i fail to see how just having poppers on the boat makes a sailfish show up in the spread??

Ask Laurie how the sails ate her flies?? She fished Cams exclusively and had as many bites as anyone. Ask Jake Jordan he has over 1000 bills on fly and 90% on Cam's
