VCFA House Report #7

Postby fishermike » Sat Oct 22, 2016 6:29 pm

Hi! Today was a blow out with high winds, :( but that did not keep some of us from fishing. We had one member go into Beaufort and he fished at Ft Macon St Park, but nothing there, so he went over to Radio Island and caught some lizard fish and got some shots at breaking albies from shore there. :D But no hookups. We also had a member fish behind the house and he caught a couple of 18" puppy drum and, unfortunately, dropped his cell phone in the water while trying to take a picture. Cell phone is drying in rice as we speak. The rest of us caught up on some sleep, tied some flies, and watched some football. All in all, a pretty good day. Wx looks like it will let us get out tomorrow, so will hope the winds have not completely screwed up the patterns we were haveing success with the last few days. If they have, we will just have to experiment around tomorrow til we find them again. Hope to see us all bowed up tomorrow. Tight lines, mike buss

Here are the drum from behind the house. :D Tight lines, mike ... 0C95F4B9E5
